About Us

Gene Weller

For many years Gene's passion has been the ability to create, whether it be art in its various forms, woodworking, or home renovation projects. Taking something raw in the beginning and nurturing it through a variety of stages brings the most joy and appreciation when looking at the finished product.

Gene inherited his artistic ability from his father.  He is a self-taught artist and has worked with a variety of mediums including pencil, charcoal, wood burning, water color, acrylic and oil.  While Gene started creating art 35 years ago, drawing, acrylic painting and oil painting have become a recent passion of his. He also makes frames for his art.

Gene's inspiration often comes from his years as a scuba diver, which gave him a greater appreciation of the colors that surround us. Painting is a way for him to pass on to others that awareness of the wonderful world around us.

Mary Weller

Art has always played a major role in Mary's life, whether it be crafts, sewing, needlepoint, cross-stitch, underwater photography or preschool crafts during her time working with children. In 2001, Mary took on the new challenge of learning wheel-thrown pottery.  She enjoys taking the clay from its raw form in the beginning, throwing it on the wheel or hand building, firing and glazing to produce the finished works of art. Mary has exhibited and sold pieces at various craft events, including custom orders. Currently she is creating alcohol ink art.
